Newborn Portraits: 16 days new!

I love newborns. As soon as I met Jen (Laith’s Mom), I knew it was going to be a great session. I really enjoyed my time with the two of them. Little did I know that little Laith’s father is also a photographer. I was especially touched when Jen told me that Laith’s father has not been able to meet him yet because of being away with work. What a privilege to be able to take these images for him to see of his precious family!

Laith surprised his parents a few weeks early. He was still so tiny, but at the same time very alert and present.
BIG yawn….

I absolutely love this image of Jen with her new son.

I also love this one…

Sweet baby hands…
I love sleepy baby images, but Laith was so awake and alert (and sweet) the whole time. He teased us with an almost nap when I caught this image.

Jen, thank you for sharing your very precious son with me. I loved watching your beautiful blue eyes light up as you spoke of him. I can’t wait to show you the rest of the gallery.

August 3, 2010 - 5:16 pm Jen - Thank you Shannon...the pictures are great and we can't wait to see the rest :) It was a pleasure to have you come to our home and hang out with Laith and I! You being so relaxed really kept the energy very natural. Again, thank you and best wishes in Indiana. Hopefully we meet again :) Jen & Laith

Four years of beautiful smiles. Headshots: Indianapolis, Indiana

This four year old has the energy and personality of someone three times her age. She’s trying her hand at acting and I can’t wait to see her show the world all her loveliness.

We are officially back in Indiana. More to come on that. I am still traveling to Maine once a month for weddings and portraits surrounding the wedding dates. So if you are interested, please contact me early as most of the spots are full. I’m looking forward to getting reacquainted with my Indiana clients, friends and family!

Much Love,

Shannon

Sneak Peek: Jesse and Kim Engaged!

I had so much fun with Jesse and Kim last night. The weather was changing all day and after a few reschedules already (and the fact that they are visiting from New York City) I really hoped all would work out for our session. It was perfect. A bit chilly for the first day of July, but we made the most of it and even had fun! Thanks, Jesse and Kim for being so nice and fun to photograph!

I hope everyone enjoys their holiday weekend!

Much Love,

Shannon

Rob and Kim: Just married, sneak peek!

What a great day! So much excitement and fun energy in today’s celebration. I love how individual and unique each wedding is in every way. Rob and Kim’s personality shined during their wedding day. I was so impressed with the planning and preparation that went into this wedding. Everything went as scheduled. Even the rain seemed to understand that it was not part of the day and needed to stay away from the festivities. I can’t wait to show you more images from this fun wedding day!

Rob and Kim made their grand entrance as husband and wife to their reception riding a horse drawn carriage.

Congratulations to the both of you!

Much Love,

Shannon
