This week I had the pleasure of meeting another sweet baby boy (and his parents)! I did not find out until the day of the session that they are both fellow Hoosiers! They met in graduate school at Indiana University and moved to Maine four years ago. This beautiful babe is their son. When (the) Mom told me that he was five weeks old and a big guy at that, I thought we will never have sleeping photos. Thankfully, he was more than cooperative and precious through the whole session.

This is one of my favorite images of the day…I love how relaxed he is with Mom holding him. I love the very slight contrast of their skin together and the graceful look of her tone arm and his arm creases.
I absolutely loved the colors they used to decorate the nursery. She said they did not find out if they were having a boy or a girl and went with gender neutral colors. I think they are perfect. (Plus the fact that there is a splash of IKEA here and there in the room, doesn’t hurt.)
