This was my first visit to Willard Beach in South Portland on an early Wednesday morning. It was uncharacteristically cold so we had a ’super session’ that I believe we knocked out in less than thirty minutes (or close to it). Everyone was a trooper as we were greeted by many dogs and even photographed by owners of those dogs who thought we were a great attraction to photograph with their camera phones. I first met this little guy and his sweet family when he was five weeks old. You can see that session here .

I love this image…gotta show some lens love for that buttery smooth background!

Look at these beautiful eyes!

LOVE the sandman look!
He was such a trooper as not all little ones are too fond of sand at this age.

A sweet moment.

This little guy is just six months old and not standing yet, but I love the happiness this image conveys with Mom and Dad giving him a hand.

One of the perks of my profession is being able to capture children as they grow and reach milestones. I can’t wait to see this happy guy again for his one year portrait!
Today we took a drive and enjoyed the fall colors starting to show up. I love this time of year! I love seeing the pumpkins at all of the apple orchards. It’s such a beautiful time to be in Maine!
Much Love,
Shannon
