A sweet engagement: Jacob and Darby!

A quick sneak peek as I am behind on blogging for many reasons, but most of them are good ones! I’m looking forward to photographing this sweet couple’s wedding in December!
We photographed their engagement session on the grounds of where they are having their ceremony at the lovely Laurel Hall. I can’t wait!

I just loved that they included their dog, Gabby into some of their images.

We’re getting ready for another heat wave this next week in the midwest. I hope everyone is staying cool!

Sneak Peek: Thirteen sweet days old!

I had a great time meeting this new bundle! She was actually awake during most of the session, but fell asleep at the end when I was able to capture these two favorites.

After her Dad swaddled her, her eyes quickly grew heavy and she fell asleep almost immediately.

Five months adorable….and a Boston Terrier named Elvis!

I posted a sneak peek a bit ago, but wanted to share a few more images from this sweet family’s session. Little Henry has such a great personality and was a lot of fun to capture with his family.

The Midwest experienced another crazy storm complete with Tornadoes and flooding. The good news is that the snow is melted and the green is starting to peek through!

In preparation of a 50 degree day, some blog catch up…

You saw the sneak peek for this great group of siblings back here. I had to show you more of these fun kids! I remember this day in October when we were tickled to have warmer than average temperatures and I was able to squeeze in several sessions. Hard to believe we’re already looking forward to spring!!

I really can’t believe how grown up these three are already! They’re such sweet kids with three distinct personalities! The sweet big sister.

Since these images were taken the family has adopted a new dog. Maggie (shown here) has been with them since before the kids were born. I was really happy she was included in the images for them!

As everyone, I am really looking forward to spring! The warm temperatures we had a little over a week ago were so good for the soul, but also made it a little tougher to endure the snow we had just a few days ago! I hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying family time before all the spring sports and wedding season is in full swing! I’m enjoying the $2 movie theater and even had a few out door walks in the past few weeks. I’m really looking forward to getting my camera outside again and seeing more green!
